The competition is organized by the Panevėžys car sports club “LADASPORT”. The participants’ meeting is scheduled for 9:15 AM, and the first cars will hit the track at 9:30 AM.
This stage will also stand out because alongside the usual championship awards, athletes will compete for two special prizes established by the event partners – the Panevėžys city municipality and the “Toyota” car dealership in Panevėžys UAB “Auresa”.
The slalom championship arrives in Panevėžys at the most exciting time of the season. Four stages have already been held in Molėtai, Gustoniai, Šakiai, and Zarasai, so before the fifth competition, every point earned becomes increasingly important. In some categories, the leaders are separated by just a few points.
One of the biggest intrigues awaits in the RWD class. Edvinas Sabalys has 39 points after four stages, but Darius Morkūnas has collected 35, and Majus Braškys – 34. The fourth-placed Aidas Valuckas, with 30 points, is only nine points behind the leader. So in Panevėžys, one mistake can fundamentally change the ranking in this class.
An even sharper situation has developed in the women’s category. Sandra Grigaitytė and Greta Šaduikytė both have 43 points after four stages. This means that both arrive in Panevėžys in a completely equal position. Ingrida Jakienė holds third place with 35 points.
In the FWD class, Mantas Karženauskas leads with 45 points. He won the last three championship stages and has a nine-point lead over Marius Survila, who has 36 points. Arnas Jakas has 32, but Algirdas Gricius, with 28 points, is very close behind.
In the AWD class, Aivaras Valentinavičius controls the situation most firmly. He has accumulated 45 points over four stages and has won first place three times. Laurynas Antanaitis has 30, and Adomas Gulbinas – 26 points.
In the youth class, Majus Braškys is currently unbeatable. He has won all four stages of this season and collected the maximum 52 points. Klaudijus Poškus, in second place, has 36 points. However, a very fierce battle is underway for third place – Laurynas Antanaitis has 30, and Markas Petronis just one point less.

In the OC category, Igoris Aleksejevič leads with 44 points. Edvinas Sabalys has collected 29, and Majus Braškys – 26 points.
There is no shortage of intrigue in the team classification either. Here, only four points separate the two leading teams. The car sports club “LADASPORT” has 46 points, VšĮ Jakų ASK – 42, and the third-placed team “Trys su puse vožtuvo” has collected 31 points.
The Panevėžys stage will leave little room for mistakes for the athletes due to the competition format itself. Each participant is scheduled for four runs on the same track layout, and the final result will be the sum of the three best times.
The championship classifications in the competition are held in FWD, RWD, AWD, OC, women’s, and youth classes, and a guest class is also provided.
Therefore, the competition dedicated to the birthday of Panevėžys city will be much more than just another season stage for the athletes. For some, it will be an opportunity to strengthen the leader’s position, for others – to catch up with competitors, and in some classes, the Panevėžys results may completely change the championship ranking.
So on September 13th, Paliūniškio Street will host not only a battle of speed and precision but also a motorsport event that will become part of the Panevėžys city birthday program.
