L. Asadauskaitė accused the Prime Minister and leader of the Social Democrats Mindaugas Sinkevičius of deceit and lies, when she was unexpectedly removed from the position of Chairwoman of the Seimas Youth and Sports Affairs Committee.

In the Seimas on Thursday, she repeated that she is still remaining in the party for now, but she should still discuss the sports reform issues she raises and other questions with M. Sinkevičius, Seimas Speaker Juozas Olekas, and Minister of Education, Science and Sports Raminta Popovienė.
“I read those publications about me. Of course, it should be clarified: the Social Democratic Party is a party of 14 thousand people with its structure – presidium, board, council. And not just Sinkevičius makes decisions,” the LSDP chairman said to journalists in the Seimas on Thursday.
M. Sinkevičius reminded that the decision that the parliamentarian would no longer lead the committee was made at the party presidium meeting held in mid-July.
