“Today we begin the fifth session of the Seimas. This session also has symbolic significance, as during it we will not only address ongoing work but also mark an important milestone for this term – the halfway point of our work,” said Seimas Speaker Juozas Olekas at the start of the session.

“Therefore, today it is important to talk not only about the agenda, the number of projects, procedures, but also about our duty to the state, about the trust people have placed in this Seimas, and about the decisions Lithuania expects from us,” he asserted.
