Lithuanian and Ukrainian defense industry cooperation will be coordinated by the Ministry of National Defence by Tadas Ruželė

As announced by the Ministry of National Defence, the group is led by the minister’s advisor Tadas Ruželė.

“Seeing how rapidly the nature of war is changing, decisions must be made not only based on today’s needs but also considering how the chosen capabilities will be developed in the future. Therefore, it is important to avoid fragmented decisions and focus on interoperable capabilities that create real military effect. Ukraine’s experience today provides an opportunity to transfer some of these decisions more quickly to Lithuania, and by cooperating with the Ukrainian and Lithuanian industries, we can not only strengthen the army’s supply but also create a long-term potential for Lithuania’s defense industry,” T. Ruželė is quoted in the statement.
