„We asked municipalities to provide information about farmers’ appeals by September 11, so by the end of this week we expect to have a much clearer picture of the scale of the damage,“ said Genovaitė Benulienė on Wednesday at the Seimas Committee on Rural Affairs.

„At the moment, we first need to accurately assess the scale of the damage. Once we receive and evaluate data from all municipalities, a decision will be made about appealing to the European Commission for additional support,“ she added.
