According to the president, competitiveness issues have become especially apparent at this time, as the prices of natural gas and electricity rise.
“Our larger exporting companies are experiencing competitiveness problems, so if we naively do not expect that the GDP growth rates, which we currently have impressively, will automatically continue in the future, if we see that our business really needs help, it needs to be done now, not sometime in the future, because the competitiveness aspect is becoming critically important,” G. Nausėda said to journalists on Monday after a meeting with the Seimas board, where they discussed the upcoming autumn session of parliament.
