Key messages from V. Zelensky:
Everyone notices that we have strengthened our positions on the battlefield. This gives us more confidence regarding any future negotiation format. We must do everything possible to have trilateral meetings. We will see who Russia agrees with. Unfortunately, today it still feels very confident enough to consider one format or another.
Our weak point is missile defense capabilities. We will strengthen them. I will have meetings in Norway and Canada, and we need to resolve several issues.
The US will increase missile production next year, and we expect such systems.
The last few days in the sky have been truly terrible. Putin is doing this before the elections. He is intensifying strikes. This is a new tactic. We will respond in kind.
Today, Ukraine already has about 60 companies working on intercepting jet drones. More precisely, 67. Several companies have already achieved results. All this is defense and “Plan B.” “Plan A” is to accelerate diplomatic efforts as much as possible to reduce the risk of escalation.
What steps could be taken and when? We met, and in the coming weeks, Ukraine, the United States, and Europe will have the opportunity to discuss certain details that we do not want to discuss publicly today.
We want to see results. There were some new ideas, and we discussed them. Give us the opportunity to analyze them. The Donbas issue is not only about Donbas. I think it is a question encompassing the entire war. This is a war of survival and exhaustion. It is a territorial issue, which is one of Russia’s goals.

Witkoff’s statements
S. Witkoff said that D. Trump asked them to come to Ukraine to renew negotiations because it is very important to him. He also said that they took it very seriously and that it was very important for them to achieve results.

To resolve such conflicts, relationships are very important. If you do not have established relationships and connections with both sides, the likelihood of achieving a peaceful solution is very low.
First, we went to Putin to hear his position. We had a detailed conversation with him, which we told Zelensky about. Both sides must make a decision. And Jared’s and my mission here is to bring both sides to the negotiating table, to create communication channels. I hope we have already started this process.
Kushner’s statements

There are no concepts of eternal enemy or eternal ally in the world. We must seek a solution aiming for the best possible result and benefit that can be obtained.
President Trump came from the business world. And in the business world, the thinking is “win-win” – how to create an opportunity for both sides to act in their own interests. War is a negative approach; everyone loses in it.
