Tibet Did Not Die for You
Two decades ago, Jurgita worked at one of the largest real estate development companies. The woman successfully climbed the career ladder, led the biggest projects, and did not count working hours. According to J. Bažanovienė, at that time she needed everything: career, recognition, and money. The businesswoman quickly reached the peak of her career but did not feel happy. “What’s the point of being able to buy a more expensive, branded suit or fly to Paris for the weekend if I didn’t feel happy? I realized I was losing connection with my children,” J. Bažanovienė reveals in a press release.

After seven intense years of work and rushing in the business world, Jurgita decided to pause – to take a vacation. Completely by chance, she went to Tibet, which became the beginning of trials, spiritual, and personal transformation. Jurgita recalls when she barely escaped death during the trip. “We ascended too quickly to 5.6 km altitude on Mount Everest, and at night I simply started to lack oxygen. Fortunately, there was a medic in our group – he saved my life,” says the former businesswoman.

After that, Jurgita worked a bit more but soon quit her career and, together with her husband Tomas and three children, took off to the southern Swedish city of Helsingborg. The Lithuanian does not hide – it was supposed to be a short experiment, a temporary stay in a foreign country, but it lasted thirteen years. “I have always been an adventure lover; we packed a few backpacks, boxes, took the children, and left. Now I think how good it was that I stopped in time. That I dared to change direction, to exchange a career in business for time with family. Today I know – it was one of the best decisions I have made,” says the mentor and lifestyle coaching practitioner.
Life Changed Radically in Sweden
Jurgita admits: Sweden forced her to slow down life, turn inward, dive into self-development, and participate in trainings across various European countries. The theme of femininity appeared in the Lithuanian’s interests. The healthy lifestyle educator recalls that it took three years to throw pants out of her everyday wardrobe. “Women must be feminine; most women don’t even know what kind of life they really want. They only know what needs to be done today but do not plan their life for five or ten years ahead. Most often, they fall into everyday routine: career, work, home, chores – and forget themselves,” says J. Bažanovienė.

Three-Day Fasting – Beneficial for Health
Today, Jurgita helps women reconnect with themselves, their bodies, and femininity, strengthen self-esteem, inner balance, and the ability to live with more pleasure, closeness, and vitality.

“We travel, and women through adventures, laughter, and physical effort remember themselves again, remember that little girl they had forgotten and neglected. Sometimes the most beautiful things happen not when everything goes according to plan. So participants return with hearts filled with self-love, understanding that only by loving themselves can they love others, and they come back with tools they use in everyday life,” says J. Bažanovienė.
Jurgita promotes conscious eating. She lives by the 80/20 principle, where 80% of her life she lives very healthily, and 20% she allows herself to indulge because life is meant to be experienced 100%. She likes harmony and balance everywhere, fasts for three days once every six months, consuming only water. “Basically, people eat too much. So a three-day detox is healthy and beneficial. Sometimes we fast with women over the weekend, and they leave full of energy, love, and respect for their physical body. We must consciously look at food because food is medicine,” shares J. Bažanovienė.
