In recent months, Simona’s life has changed dramatically. The mother of triplets is going through a difficult period – she is divorcing her husband, and almost every detail of their divorce is discussed daily in the public space.

Therefore, this TV3 television show came into S. Lipnė’s life at just the right time – precisely when she needed to add at least a little brighter color to her daily life.

“The name of this project – ‘The Nation’s Dumbest’ – was initially a hook that made me doubt. But later I thought from another perspective – maybe at this stage of life, it would be quite fun for me to participate somewhere, take on something new, go and do it. And after all, this is a world-famous project that is also produced in Lithuania,” says Simona.
According to S. Lipnė, everything in this show seems simple only at first glance. But once you start completing the tasks, suddenly a huge desire to improve yourself arises. Still, as the well-known woman says, you certainly won’t learn all the world’s knowledge overnight.
“I had no idea who my classmates would be, so I was very happy to see among what kind of people I was invited. The other participants really surprised me. It’s an honor to be here,” admits S. Lipnė.
Simona likes tasks related to languages, logic, or sports the most. However, she does not hide that stress can sometimes really trip her up. And she is most dreading the challenges of biology, chemistry, and physics…
“I think the dumbest person is the one who claims to know everything. Because a person who says they know everything actually knows nothing,” she says.

Simona also shares her life experience – the woman has often seen how people around refuse to improve and are afraid to make mistakes. And even when they do make mistakes, they never admit it.
“And I think it’s better to admit mistakes and move on,” shares Simona.
Simona will strive to prove this in the project as well. That she not only can laugh at herself but also can admit when she is wrong. She will not worry even in cases when she does not know or remember something. According to Simona, knowledge can always be refreshed.

However, she does not hide that she definitely would not want to win this show and hopes to be eliminated at least halfway through: “Jesus, it’s scary for me! I would like to be eliminated at least in the middle because I know a flood of all kinds of comments will pour in. I understand that some will look at this project ironically, and for others, it will be a hook. But this is a game, you just need to take it as entertainment.”
Still, no matter how it all ends, Simona admits – this show came into her life at the most appropriate time. Especially because the businesswoman experiences a lot of stress every day.
“Between filming, I have to check all kinds of sent documents, put signatures, solve problems, make transfers, and so on. I won’t hide that it’s hard to coordinate all this – sometimes my mind is elsewhere. But here I catch myself drifting away. This is incredible to me because I haven’t drifted away from anything for four months. In this regard, this project helps me a lot. It’s like therapy. I laugh a lot here, and lately, I haven’t laughed at anything at all. I will take only the best emotions from here,” she concludes the conversation.
“The Nation’s Dumbest” premiere – Sunday at 7:30 PM on TV3.
