The victory in Šiauliai was brought to the guests by Anthony Kaliko’s header after Leo Ribeiro’s pass in the 55th minute.
The Lithuanian champions will face Kretinga’s “Minija,” who lead the second division of the country, in the final, which will also be the first LFF Cup final for Kretinga. In the semifinals, Kretinga defeated another I league team, Alytus “Dainava,” 3:2.

“Kauno Žalgiris” still has a chance this season to win all three national football trophies – the representatives of the temporary capital won the LFF Supercup in February, and they are currently in second place in the Top League. Kaunas residents will start their appearance in the UEFA Conference League in October, which they qualified for the first time in the club’s history.
The LFF Cup final is scheduled for October 11 at the Darius and Girėnas Stadium in Kaunas, where “Kauno Žalgiris” plays its home matches.
