The day before, three Moscow airports had suspended operations. According to “Flightradar24” data, 21 flights were canceled and 235 delayed at Sheremetyevo, while 22 flights were canceled and 94 delayed at Vnukovo.

Earlier, V. Zelensky warned airlines and insurers on his “Telegram” channel that Ukraine, in response to Russian Armed Forces strikes on civilian infrastructure, would intensify attacks on Russian territory using drones.

On Wednesday, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha stated that Kyiv officially informed the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) about the insecurity of Russian airspace.

Ukraine appealed to ICAO to urge member states to completely ban civil aviation flights in Russian airspace.
