“I was really looking forward to playing a game again. It was my first time playing at full speed since last season, so I wanted to get back on the court – the feeling is great,” said N. Williams-Goss.
The American also highlighted the main lessons from this game.
“We need to improve our mindset at the start of the game, in the third quarter. We have to do a better job and set the tone of the game, as well as maintain stability throughout the match. Step by step we will achieve this – we will have both worse and better moments, because that is what friendly matches are for,” added the Žalgiris player.
In the game against “Juventus,” N. Williams-Goss repeatedly played two-on-two or pick-and-roll combinations with Jonas Valančiūnas, and the American himself was pleased with the new teammate.

“I hope I can keep throwing the ball to Jonas, it really suits me. Of course, I hope we find our rhythm as a team, because we have many new players, so we need to find chemistry to play the most effective basketball,” highlighted the Žalgiris player.
