V. Putin also expressed his position on whether it is necessary to expand the number of participants in the Ukraine negotiations.
“We advocate for negotiations filled with concrete content. If someone contributes or can specifically contribute, we fully support that. The only thing we would not want is for everything to go around in circles pointlessly. But if someone can bring something positive to this negotiation process, which is currently somewhat frozen, overall we do not oppose it,” the Russian leader stated.
According to him, “specialists, military personnel, and diplomats are needed here.”
“There are people close to us whom we trust – people of D. Trump. They try to give concreteness to our work. The president trusts them. Without them, no negotiations are possible. Both Kushner and Witkoff are welcome guests,” he added.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the dialogue between the US and Ukrainian negotiation teams continues, and currently the date for the visit of the US president’s special representatives to Ukraine is being coordinated.
He noted that a phone conversation took place with US President Donald Trump’s representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
