“The Ministry of Social Security together with the Ministry of the Interior participate in setting the quota (BNS) and all circumstances are evaluated – both the possible integration of foreigners and how much public services they can receive. We believe that mechanism is set completely proportionally,” she explained. “The system is good at setting that number because all circumstances that can affect the lives of foreigners in Lithuania are evaluated.”
