Due to Russian attacks on Monday in Kherson, a man and an elderly woman were killed, reported Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson regional military administration.
In Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region, one employee was injured when Russian forces attacked a mine belonging to DTEK, the largest private energy company in Ukraine, the company reported. The injured person was taken to the hospital.
Additionally, Russian forces attacked Kryvyi Rih on Monday, damaging an industrial facility, according to Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the Kryvyi Rih defense council, on the Telegram platform.
It is unclear which specific facility was hit.
Due to Russian strikes on the morning of August 31, new power supply disruptions were recorded in six Ukrainian regions. According to the Ukrainian state electricity transmission operator “Ukrenergo,” the affected regions were Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Mykolaiv.
“Urgent repair work is already underway where it is currently possible under safety conditions. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore electricity to all consumers as soon as possible,” the statement said.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces struck a number of Russian military targets over the past day, including a radar station, an S-400 system, several warehouses, a communications node, and a ground drone control station.
“In Desniansky, Bryansk region, Russia, an enemy radar station was struck. Also, near Ploskobukreyevka in Bryansk region, Russia, a command vehicle belonging to the S-400 Triumph air defense missile system was hit. In Zimovnaya, Belgorod region, Russia, an enemy communications node was also attacked, as well as an enemy ground drone control station near Huliaipole in Zaporizhzhia region,” reported the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Among other targets, Ukrainian forces struck logistics warehouses belonging to Russian units in Kyr-Bailare in temporarily occupied Crimea, Verchnokamyanka in Luhansk region, and Popovo-Lezhachy in Kursk region, Russia.
