Humanitarian aid to Ukraine is being delivered in cooperation with the country’s energy company “Khmelnytskoblenergo.” “KN Energies” is sending various equipment needed for the handling of oil products and the operation of energy infrastructure, which will be used to meet the needs of Ukraine’s energy sector.

“I have seen with my own eyes the energy infrastructure of Ukraine devastated by Russia and the determination with which Ukrainians are restoring it. Therefore, I fully understand how important this support is. At the same time, it strengthens Lithuania’s security – Ukraine shares with us the experience accumulated and tested in practice during the war on how to protect energy infrastructure, ensure its operational continuity, and restore it as quickly as possible after attacks,” says Energy Minister Lukas Savickas.
“We support Ukraine consistently and will continue this support as long as necessary. This time we are delivering equipment that can directly contribute to the operation of energy infrastructure and the continuity of oil product handling at Ukrainian terminals.
With Russia systematically attacking and destroying the country’s energy infrastructure, its resilience and operational continuity are extremely important both for the people of Ukraine and the functioning of the state, as well as for the broader regional energy security. Therefore, we are constantly looking for concrete ways in which we can help Ukraine with our available resources and expertise,” notes company director Darius Šilenskis.

This is not the first humanitarian aid shipment “KN Energies” has sent to Ukraine. Since the beginning of the war, the company has delivered generators and transformers intended for the country’s energy sector, vehicles, various electronic equipment, and medical supplies.
“KN Energies” also actively intermediates for other companies operating in Klaipėda that want to deliver necessary equipment and items to Ukraine.
