I also have a very nice ritual – every morning after making coffee, I open my FB memories section. It’s fun to see what I wrote ten years ago, how I or my dogs looked at that time. Since I have always been active on FB , reviewing those memories takes about fifteen minutes, and I really, really enjoy this moment of my day. Did you know that I created my first profile under my dog’s name and wrote on FB from the perspective of a dachshund for a couple of years? Now it seems so hopelessly silly and embarrassing, but back then it was quite fun for me.
However, lately I have to admit that my beloved Facebook has broken down. The abundance of ads no longer surprises me, but it makes me think every day about a paid FB ad-free version. But the inner Scrooge in me always feels sorry for those ten euros a month. But that’s not the worst part.
