The head of state also highlighted the conductor’s leadership of the Birmingham City Symphony Orchestra, which, according to him, opened space for interpretations that received the attention of the international music community.
“Your musical partnership with the world’s most famous orchestras testifies to the authority earned through talent, consistent work, and dedication to music,” said the president.
Minister of Culture L. Alsys emphasized M. Gražinytė-Tyla’s contribution to Lithuanian musical culture and her attention to the national school of composers.
“Thank you for your exceptional talent, bold musical vision, and impressive representation of the country’s culture on the world stages,” the minister congratulated the conductor.
