“On Friday early in the morning, starting around half past four, a lunar eclipse will begin. However, in our country, the Moon will not be fully eclipsed; the eclipse will reach its peak around 6:10-6:30 AM (east-west),” writes G.Valaika on his “Weather and Climate in Lithuania” Facebook page.

He notes that at that time the natural satellite will be right at the horizon and the sun will be rising exactly then.
“So, you should look for an open horizon in the southwest-western direction,” advises G.Valaika, adding that the best place to observe the eclipse would be by the seaside, if clouds do not roll in.

Almost a total eclipse will be visible in a large part of North and South America, as well as in some parts of Europe and Africa.
