Officers of the Criminal Intelligence Service of the Lithuanian Prison Department (LKT) received information that helped determine the possible location of a prisoner who did not return to Pravieniškės Prison No. 1.

The prisoner was found and detained in Radviliškis.
On August 21, 2026, the duty officer of Pravieniškės Prison No. 1 reported that the prisoner Edgaras Kinderis, born in 1997, did not return to the prison from work by the set time – 8:30 PM. A search was immediately launched.
While conducting the search, officers of the Lithuanian Prison Department’s Criminal Intelligence Service found out that the prisoner might be hiding in Radviliškis, at the residence of his former partner. After determining her address, the officers went to check.

Upon arrival, the wanted prisoner was found, detained, and will be returned to prison to continue serving his sentence under stricter regime conditions.
The Lithuanian Prison Department thanks the citizens who were not indifferent, provided important information to the officers, and contributed to the search for the prisoner. Civic responsibility and cooperation of the public are very important in ensuring public safety and promptly determining the whereabouts of wanted persons.
