On Wednesday, a reader’s letter reached the Žmonės.lt editorial office, in which the person drew attention to the fact that due to changed plans, no one wants to buy back a ticket for Jessica Shy’s Saturday concert. Although this date was announced first, the date that attracted listeners more was the additional show on Friday.

“Like most Jessica Shy fans, we bought tickets on August 29th. We were sad when we found out that an additional concert was announced the day before our purchased concert date, but we shrugged it off – the most important thing was to attend. Unfortunately, circumstances changed and we will not be able to attend the concert at all, so we have to sell the tickets. This is where we encountered a new problem: everyone who inquires about buying tickets, upon seeing that it’s on the 29th, replies ‘unfortunately, we are looking for the 28th’. I hope that in the future, organizers will think about how to better appreciate those who strive to be the first to secure the opportunity to see the concert of the best singer in Lithuania,” the reader wrote.
The letter also mentions that Jessica Shy, when announcing the additional concert, promised surprises to fans who had purchased tickets for the original show.
“However, we see that the lineup (list of event guests, – author’s note) is the same for both dates,” the reader did not hide her disappointment.
We remind you that on Tuesday, Jessica Shy announced who will be warming up her grandiose concerts in Vingis Park – Aiste Regina (dj set) will appear on stage at 7 PM, and the band “Lemon Joy” will take the stage at 8 PM.
The evening’s main act, Jessica Shy, will start her program at 8:45 PM.
“I urge everyone to arrive early so we can start the concert on time!
Avoid queues, listen to the warm-up artists, there will be other activities at the venue.
I recommend having warmer clothing for the evening, a raincoat won’t hurt for the Lithuanian summer either. We are really looking forward to it!” Jessica Shy wrote when announcing the news.
On the social network “Instagram”, Jessica Shy also received a comment on this matter.
“Hello, it was mentioned a long time ago that the Saturday concert would be different,” a follower wrote.

To this, the artist provided her response.
“Now I understand how everyone’s expectations and perceptions differ on this matter.
The concerts on both days will differ very minimally. And they will both be wonderful, we put all our hearts into them.
Unfortunately, I understand that we won’t please everyone and will still remain “unfair” to some.
I will invite those who first purchased tickets for the August 29th concert to meet after the concert, take photos, or share impressions. On Friday, I will have to go home to rest.
I realized that for some people, it is especially important to be the first to see the concert. That’s why we left the option to exchange tickets, which some people took advantage of.
However, just like last year, when showing the same concert three times in a row, I didn’t hear comments that the experience was worse just because someone wasn’t the first to see it. Abroad, artists take the same program through dozens of countries, and stories and TikToks will never surpass the live experience.
So please – come first and foremost to have a good time. We are striving to make both evenings extraordinary. I take all kinds of statements and messages deeply to heart, but it’s time to distance myself and save my emotions. Thank you for your understanding,” Jessica Shy wrote.
