Lithuania condemns Belarus's decision to declare EU-supported program pages extremist

As reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) on Tuesday, this decision is a “politically motivated and unfounded step aimed at restricting Belarusian citizens’ access to information about the EU and its member states’ civil society strengthening, education, mobility, and other support initiatives.”

According to the MFA, the programs support representatives of Belarusian civil society, students, teachers, researchers, and independent educational initiatives. These initiatives are implemented in accordance with EU values and principles of international law.
