Russia launched attack drones at the Ukraine and Moldova border checkpoint: traffic paralyzed

Currently, the passage of people and vehicles through the “Vynohradivka” checkpoint is suspended. The Moldovan side has been informed, and traffic is being redirected to other border control points.

This is not the first such Russian strike on infrastructure at the border with Moldova. On the night of August 21, Russian forces also attacked the Bolhrad and Izmail districts of the Odessa region. At that time, the infrastructure of the international border crossing point “Tabaki” was damaged, fires broke out, and the movement of people and vehicles through the checkpoint was temporarily suspended.
