The football statistics analysis page “Football Meets Data” calculated which of the teams participating in this year’s UEFA tournament qualifiers filled their stadiums best during home matches.

Vilnius “Žalgiris” took second place in this category. Over three matches against “Petrovac”, Tbilisi “Dinamo” and Split “Hajduk”, an average of 4,921 fans visited this team’s home stadium, or 97.1% of the 5,067 capacity of the “Žalgiris” home stadium.
Only the “Hradec Kralove” club from the Czech Republic showed better stadium attendance among the several hundred teams participating in the qualifiers, whose fans filled all 9,300 stadium seats in both matches.
We remind you that “Žalgiris”, having overcome the barriers of “Petrovac” and “Dinamo”, stumbled at the third, when with an aggregate score of 2:9 they were defeated by the “Hajduk” team.
Another Lithuanian club, “Kauno Žalgiris”, still continuing their performance, played two home matches at the Darius and Girėnas stadium, which holds 15,026 fans. The match against “Drita” was watched by 4,484 spectators, and against Zagreb “Dinamo” – 6,051.

Kaunas also played another match in Jonava, attended by 2,275 spectators.
