“Our data shows that sales of stationery items begin to grow more noticeably from the second half of July, and in August this growth becomes particularly intense,” J. Sakalauskaitė told BNS. “The true peak of the season includes not only the last days of August but also the first weeks of September.”

According to her, sales of folders and binders grew 19.2 times in a month, backpacks, pencil cases, and bags 14.6 times, writing instruments 8.3 times, and tens of thousands of notebooks are sold before September.
