„The storm lasted about 13 hours and caused huge damage to the network. Currently, there are about 219 thousand customers across Lithuania without electricity,“ Rasa Juodkienė, ESO public relations representative, commented to LRT radio.

According to her, the most affected are the Utena, Panevėžys, and Vilnius regions.

The most affected regions are Utena – here about 54 thousand customers are without electricity, Panevėžys region about 33 thousand, Vilnius district and surroundings about 30 thousand, also Alytus region 18 thousand, Šiauliai region 14 thousand, and this time the storm caused the least damage and impact to our customers in the Klaipėda region, where about 13 thousand customers are without electricity,“ R. Juodkienė told LRT radio.
