The Kyiv city military administration reported a fire at a warehouse in the Darnytskyi district of the capital, after previously announcing a ballistic missile threat.
“According to preliminary data, unfortunately, one person died, and several others were injured,” the administration reported on the Telegram platform.
In the southern city of Zaporizhzhia, according to the head of the regional military administration Ivan Fedorov, a man was killed in a Russian drone attack, and four more people were injured.
These strikes occurred after a series of bombings carried out by Russia on Friday, which claimed at least 20 lives in Ukraine. Among them were 16 people killed during a drone attack on a busy shopping center in Kryvyi Rih, the hometown of President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Rescue operations continued throughout the night, reported the regional military governor Oleksandr Hanža, who informed about nine missing persons, including two children.
According to rescue services, 130 people were injured in this attack, including 23 children.

The United Nations (UN) reported that the number of civilian casualties this year has reached the highest level since the early months of the war.
Kyiv has repeatedly appealed to its allies for additional support as Russia intensified its strikes. Ukrainian forces find it especially difficult to intercept salvos of ballistic missiles.
In recent months, Ukraine has also intensified retaliatory strikes on Russian territory, partly aiming to force Moscow to come to the negotiating table and end the conflict that has caused the most casualties in Europe since World War II.
Diplomatic efforts have failed to help both sides reach an agreement, with Russia demanding large territorial and political concessions from Kyiv.
V. Zelensky rejected the possibility of agreeing to these conditions, arguing that it would amount to capitulation, leaving the country vulnerable to another Russian attack.
