– Definitely – clothes. I have so many that when I open the wardrobe, I have to watch out for the pile of clothes falling out. I could easily open a clothing store – several families could shop there. Some friends call me a hoarder because of this. I don’t see myself that way – yes, I buy a lot of new things, but I confidently share and give them away later.
– You have visited more than 100 countries. What do you usually bring back from your travels?
– Since I spend a lot of time abroad, I mostly shop during my trips. I like when items remind me daily of the countries I have visited. Most often, I buy t-shirts from hotels, bars, cafes, coffee shops – I have a really large collection, about a few hundred. I have brought them from all over the world: Vietnam, Thailand, Peru, Brazilian beaches, and elsewhere.

– And how do you manage to fit all these souvenirs later in your wardrobe?
– I admit, it’s really difficult for me to keep constant order in the wardrobe because of the amount of stuff. I think the best solution, in my case, would be two more wardrobes (laughs). Sometimes when tidying up, I try to sort the clothes I have, set aside what I no longer wear, but I don’t throw them away. I can’t – I’m very sentimental, so someone else should do that for me because I just feel sorry to say goodbye to favorite items.
A wardrobe that fits almost everything

- For hanging clothes, it’s worth choosing deeper wardrobes, and for folded clothes – wardrobes with less depth: the latter allow you to see clothes more conveniently because you don’t have to store them in two rows.
- Having many clothes is also helped by small solutions, such as special OMTRENT hanger connectors that allow you to join several hangers together. “Personally, I really like the triple hanger KOMPLEMENT, mounted on the outside of the wardrobe, where you can hang clothes prepared for the next day – a really great helper that saves time,” shares T. Laucienė.

- Proper storage of less frequently worn or seasonal clothes is helped by zippered or closed storage boxes. It’s worth choosing textile ones for clothes because they allow air to pass, protect from fading and dust. “In such boxes, I often keep clothes I’m reluctant to part with or am considering passing on to others: if I don’t miss them for a certain period, I know I can give or sell them with a clear conscience and thus give them a second life,” shares the interior designer.
