“This summer, the water quality in the district’s bathing sites is pleasing – almost all test results were good. The only case when microbiological contamination was detected in July showed why it is important to test the water regularly. Repeat tests confirmed that the water quality improved, so it is currently safe to bathe in all bathing sites in the district. The most important thing is that residents can calmly enjoy the summer, and we, in turn, continue to monitor the quality of water bodies,” says Renata Valantinienė from the Panevėžys district municipality.
