“I want to thank the club management for their trust,” said D. Vencevičius. “I feel good in Marijampolė, everything is fine. I am satisfied that the club trusts me, I will give my all for its benefit.”
The “Sūduva” strategist, chosen as the best coach of the June-July months in Toplyga, says he always aims for the highest possible position, and this will continue in the future.
“We are slowly moving from match to match, the mood is good. But we have already started thinking about next year, talking with players who want to stay and those who do not. Some may have better offers, then we will decide and consider,” said D. Vencevičius. “In football, results are the most important, so the goal is always to be as high as possible.”

In Toplyga, “Sūduva” has 39 points after 22 matches and leads by one point over second-placed “Kauno Žalgiris”.
The next match for the Marijampolė team will be on August 23 at home against “Panevėžys”.
