67 kg UTMA muaythai champion V. Karosas (7-4, 2 KOs UTMA) continues his fights in UTMA rings. Let us remind you that V. Karosas first appeared in the UTMA ring at the UTMA 4 tournament, and became the UTMA 67 kg muaythai champion at the UTMA 8 tournament, when he defeated Arnest Naujokas.

V. Karosas defended his belt two more times – at the UTMA 11 tournament he again defeated A. Naujokas, and at the UTMA 18 tournament he defended the champion’s throne against Cengiz Lale.

R. Avlasevičius (4-1-1, 3 KOs UTMA) debuted in the organization at the UTMA 9 tournament, when he defeated M. Pultaražinskas, and reached the highest point in his journey in the UTMA organization at the UTMA 12 tournament, when he defeated Henrikas Vikšraitis and became the first 75 kg UTMA kickboxing champion. However, although R. Avlasevičius lost the belt at the UTMA 13 tournament after losing to Nikolai Cvetković, Raimondas returned to the path of victories at the UTMA 17 tournament.

Although the ongoing changes in the UTMA organization’s sports structure affected R. Krilavičius (4-1, 1 KO UTMA), who lost the discontinued 77 kg weight category UTMA champion belt, he will continue to fight in UTMA tournaments choosing the 75 kg weight category. R. Krilavičius started his journey in UTMA already at the UTMA 2 tournament with a victory in an MMA fight. He returned to the organization’s fights at the UTMA 9 tournament, when he defeated Dovydas Rimkus and has been fighting under kickboxing rules since then. R. Krilavičius got a championship chance at the UTMA 17 tournament, where after a tough five-round fight he defeated and took the champion’s belt from Mantvydas Perednis.

Appearing in one of the biggest UTMA organization fights, E. Šalkovski (3-2, 2 KOs UTMA) will continue to prove his worth in the heaviest weight categories. E. Šalkovski made a victorious debut at the UTMA 9 tournament, and together with Ignas Pauliukevičius created one of the most memorable fights at the UTMA 16 tournament.

Also, R. Kulis will have more opportunities to showcase himself – we have seen this fighter in the UTMA ring only once, and at the UTMA 16 tournament the representative of the “Sparta” club defeated Mindaugas Narauskas by technical knockout in the second round.

Together with the fighters, the “Sparta” club coach Andrius Šipaila also signed a symbolic contract.
“We have a high number of wins, fewer losses, participated in many tournaments, had main or co-main fights in many tournaments. Such achievements are pleasing, we want to maintain and improve them. Of course, improving will be difficult because the competition in UTMA is now very strong.

Of course, we fought with all current UTMA champions, only did not fight against Dovydas Levickis, but that fight is already awaited. We have many strong athletes in our club, our goal is –
to win all UTMA belts. Will we succeed? We need to set the highest goals,” said A. Šipaila.
