The Lithuanian minister arrived in Kyiv on August 19 and met, among others, with Ukraine’s Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal.
During the visit, it is planned to sign an agreement on experience exchange in the field of energy infrastructure protection.
In addition, on Thursday, the Lithuanian delegation will visit several Ukrainian energy infrastructure facilities and meet with representatives of energy companies.

Early in the morning, rescuers in Kyiv searched through the ruins of destroyed buildings, including a damaged children’s hospital, while grieving families watched as two bodies were pulled from an apartment building.
The first explosions in Kyiv were heard less than three minutes after the official warning late Wednesday evening – leaving local residents almost no time to reach shelters.
V. Zelensky indicated that 12 people died in the capital itself, and one in its surroundings.
