Advance payments are made in stages
NMA started paying these advance payments two months earlier than usual, from August 17. Already in the first days, almost 74 million EUR was paid to nearly 64 thousand clients. Payments will continue.
Advance payments are made to applicants whose applications have already been checked and meet all support requirements.
Payments, as always, are made in stages – regularly compiling new lists of applicants who meet the requirements. Applicants who have corrected identified discrepancies or provided missing information will be included in the next advance payment stage.
Only 1 advance payment possible
According to EC regulations, the advance can be paid only once – thus, after paying the advance payments for the main part of the basic payment for fields that meet the requirements, the remaining part for fields eligible for support, after all checks, would be paid from December 1, when final payments begin.
Compliance with the mowing requirement
If a pasture meadow is declared, the advance can be paid only after fulfilling the mowing or grazing requirement (deadline – no later than September 1).
Compliance with support allocation requirements must be checked in the current year. The Automatic Permanent Field Monitoring System (ALNSIS) algorithms start monitoring fields from May, so relying on previous historical data is not allowed.
Regardless of whether the field was grazed or mowed, the ALNSIS algorithm performs monitoring of requirement fulfillment and determines the result equally.
Monitoring system and results update every 10 days
Field monitoring using ALNSIS is carried out from May 2026.
Since satellite data processing takes time, the NMA information portal usually shows data recorded about 10 days earlier.
ALNSIS data is shown on the NMA information portal:
data from August 10 algorithm provided on August 17;
data from August 20 algorithm provided on August 31.
Meaning of orange color on the field
From August 17, some fields are marked in orange – this means that the obligation has not yet been fulfilled and the deadline is approaching. This is a preventive measure to help farmers correct mistakes, manage, and avoid reduction of support payments.

Submitting photos will speed up advance payments
We draw attention that the monitored field result may change upon receiving new algorithm results or after NMA performs additional data verifications.
Therefore, if applicants have already fulfilled the mowing requirement but the data visible on the NMA Information Portal does not correspond to the actual field condition, they can send photos via the mobile app “NMA agro”. This is necessary to receive payments earlier.
The algorithm’s reliability is high, but changing natural conditions may affect the algorithm data results.
NMA does not make decisions on financial deductions based solely on algorithm monitoring results – additional verifications are performed. One way is a field photo submitted via the “NMA agro” mobile app – it allows much faster additional verification and payment of due support.
If photos are not submitted, after the deadline for fulfilling requirements, NMA will perform additional verifications by the end of September and make decisions based on its available data.
