Members of the punk rock band “Kvitkis,” founded in 2020, announced the death of their friend and musician on their social media accounts.

“Vitalikas died… it’s hard to write about it. And impossible to comprehend. It is a very painful and indescribable loss for all of us. Anyone who knows Vitalikas will confirm that he was the brightest, most positive, most sincere person, full of creativity, interesting ideas, and passion for everything possible. We will never be able to speak about him in the past tense. But we will also no longer be able to play with him, shoot music videos, perform concerts, meet to drink and talk,” the band members wrote.
The musician served in the 1st National Guard “Azov” Corps. The circumstances of his death are not disclosed.
The death of Anatolijus Tkač, drummer of the well-known rock and roll band “Ruki’v Bryuki,” at the front was announced by the musician’s sister Valentina Tkač, as well as the band’s vocalist and guitarist Aleksandras Remezas.
A. Tkač was mobilized into the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in July 2024. He served in the 79th Air Assault Brigade. The circumstances of the musician’s death are also not detailed.
The band “Ruki’v Bryuki” was founded in 2007 in Kyiv by musician Aleksandras Remezas. After 2017, it changed its name to “RvB,” mainly playing rock and roll and rhythm and blues.
