According to it, last year the company extracted 9 thousand tons of oil (the year before last – 10 thousand tons). It was sold to “Orlen Lietuva”.
“The company plans to continue oil extraction in the Nausodis, Girkaliai, Kretinga fields until the end of economically viable exploitation,” the report states.
“Expansion is possible if the macroeconomic situation changes: if the oil price increases, the possibility of drilling new wells would be evaluated. Also, if a tender for new hydrocarbon resource usage areas is announced,” the company says.
The company also evaluates the possibilities of using wells for alternative projects.
The company holds state-issued licenses to extract oil and gas in the Girkaliai, Kretinga, and Nausodis fields.

At the end of last year, it employed 29 workers (a year ago – 32).
“Lotos Geonafta” also has subsidiaries “Genčių nafta” and “Manifoldas” – the first extracts oil in the Genčių field, the second in the Klaipėda licensed area.
Additionally, “Lotos Geonafta” owns 50% of the shares of “Minijos nafta” – it extracts oil in the Vilkyčiai, South Šiupariai, Diegliai, Pocius, Sakutis, Uoksai, Agluonėnai, and Šiupariai fields.
