UAB „Infrastruktūra LT“ is a shareholder and project developer of UAB „Benedikto turgus“. As 15min confirmed, Vitalijus Kuodis, head of the „Infrastruktūra LT“ group of companies, stated that from September 1, the activities of „Benedikto turgus“ in its current format will end and reconstruction works will begin in the building.

„The market tenants were informed in advance about the planned changes, in accordance with the terms and deadlines set out in the contracts concluded with them.
After the reconstruction, the building will continue to be used for commercial activities, but its operating model will change – a smaller number of larger tenants is planned,“ he said.
According to V. Kuodis, preparations for the reconstruction are currently underway and further development decisions for the object are being evaluated.

„We will inform about specific future tenants or other decisions once they are finally agreed upon,“ he said.

When opening the doors of this market, it was announced that „Benedikto turgus“ was built in 9 months, with an investment of 3.7 million euros in the marketplace. The architect of the 1,500 sq. meter market is Dainius Kitovas, the project developer and shareholder of UAB „Benedikto turgus“ is UAB „Infrastruktūra LT“.
