The young man’s face was bruised, and he told the medics that he had fallen off a scooter. He said the same to his mother when he called her around 10 p.m. He tried to reassure his mother that it was an accident and that he had fallen off the scooter. Andrius claimed he had hit his head and that a friend was taking him to the hospital.

The young man was admitted to the hospital and underwent surgery.
