“Yesterday we unexpectedly lost our beloved friend Donatas Dubauskas. We can say goodbye to him on 08.15 Saturday from 4 p.m. at Šv. Paco St. 4 until 08.16 1:30 p.m. Then we will accompany him to his eternal rest at Sudervė Cemetery. Light wind to you, Donce, as you climb those stairs upwards, I hope a bike ride uphill is organized… if not, turn as always – we will carry it up…”, the message says.
Žmonės.lt reminds that on Wednesday the news of D. Dubauskas’s death shocked many, messages and condolences to the artist’s relatives poured in on social networks. Many still called the famous man the Lithuanian Indian, often recognizing him by his old large-wheeled bicycle or distinctive style. Passing by, he always caught glances and made people turn around.
