The Moldovan media outlet “NewsMaker” reported that the police found debris of a “rocket-type drone” that caused a fire and damaged buildings in the Ștefan Vodă district.
“This incident is a serious violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova, which endangered the safety of our citizens,” said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Although Russian drones have previously violated Moldovan airspace since the start of the large-scale war, this is the first time such an aircraft has been detected on the country’s territory.
