“This is more than a public toilet: one of the most modern public sanitary buildings in Lithuania has been opened in Palanga. Palanga consistently invests in public infrastructure that shapes the quality of the city and the resort’s image. The latest example is the completely renovated public sanitary building on Meilės Alley, near the Sea Bridge,” announced Palanga mayor Šarūnas Vaitkus.
It is emphasized that 34 modern usage places have been installed here in the women’s and men’s zones. The toilet is also adapted for the disabled.
The reconstruction lasted more than a year. The company “Akvitas,” which carried out the repair work, committed to doing it for 587 thousand euros. Due to such costs, the toilet by the sea has already been dubbed golden.
Palanga municipality emphasizes that next year the infrastructure on the beaches will be significantly improved, and new toilets will appear.
