Ruginienė revealed whether Lithuania plans to raise the retirement age

„Already at 50 years old (a person – BNS) often loses health, cannot do their usual work, has to look for something easier or due to health loss falls into the trap of unemployment. Discrimination against 55 plus (year-old people – BNS), when we choose a younger (employee – BNS), but somehow an older person does not suit us. As long as we have all these problems, I see no possibility to extend the retirement age,“ the minister explained.
