Reports note that this system was deployed in the territory of the 2156th military unit. It was struck on August 7, and the successful destruction of the equipment was confirmed by satellite images published by Ukrainian open-source analysts.
In a short period, this is already the third loss of the latest electronic warfare system for the Russian military.

Earlier, Ukrainian forces reported strikes on such stations on June 14 and 25. One of the complexes was destroyed in Kerch.
Russian military had begun actively using it as a response to intensified Ukrainian attacks on logistics routes in Russia and occupied territories.

In Kyiv, it was stated that the “Volna Kupol Garant” complex uses antennas to create powerful jamming in as many as eight satellite data transmission bands. As a result, one such electronic warfare complex ensures protection of an area of about 20 square meters.
However, it is claimed that the station has one fundamental drawback.
“Due to its bulky dimensions, it is practically impossible to hide, and the powerful radiation helps the enemy locate the complex even deep in the rear,” said the author of the “Vojenyj osvedomitel” channel.
According to Ukrainian Defense Minister’s advisor Sergei Beskrestnov, aka Flesha, the “Volna Kupol Garant” complex is manufactured by the company LLC “Rossiyskij Kupol” in occupied Simferopol. It costs the Russian military about 1.297 million euros per unit.
The first time such a system was recorded in use by the Ukrainian army was back in 2024 in the Kharkiv direction, but then the complex was quickly detected and destroyed.
