To justify his words, the actor published a personal correspondence with a theater representative named Paulius. The shared screenshots show how the creator does not hide his disappointment over the canceled performances and proves that he was the one seeking a compromise with the institution’s director to save the play.

“Of course, it is possible to have a different opinion or support something, but let’s get to the main points. I want to share how I reacted to the theater’s proposal, in their words, to ‘peacefully’ resolve this problem. I will provide you with the messages I wrote to the theater and my opinion about this cancellation. Then you can judge for yourselves who truly cared about the fate of the play and the colleagues’ troupe, and who completely didn’t care,” T. Gryn said addressing his audience.
Commenting on the published conversations, the well-known actor emphasized that he did everything possible in the negotiation process so that the audience could see the planned performances, but his initiative hit an impenetrable wall of indifference.
“From the published messages, you can see that I was looking for any ways and means to keep the play in the repertoire and not disappoint the audience. I made every possible effort. But the other side did not care at all. They didn’t care about the audience, the troupe itself, or anything at all. It is simply astonishing,” T. Gryn expressed his frustration and emotions.

The actor strongly rejected any accusations that the shows had to be stopped because of his greed or unreasonable financial expectations. According to T. Gryn, this is a misleading myth:
“Spreading such misinformation and creating a narrative that everything failed because of some invented money is complete madness! Maybe it’s time to look at the director’s unwillingness and inability to manage? If so, I can perform the same ‘Macbeth’ even tomorrow, completely for free – all those twelve canceled performances. After all, as someone aptly noted speaking about their Vedlė, an artist must be humble, have no self-respect, and, of course, always remain hungry!” the actor said with no shortage of irony.
