“The Desafio Ruta 40 is over. Another victory of the day – it’s a pity that there was a technical problem on the first day, but we learned from it. We will do everything to ensure that such a situation does not happen again in the future. Despite everything, the final result is solid,” said A. Kanopkinas after finishing. In the quad category, even after the time penalties received on the first day, the athlete remained fourth out of eight.
The athlete shared that there were no easy days in Argentina and revealed where the team is heading directly from Argentina: “The route today was very difficult, although there was not a single easy day here. All of them were very tough. I am glad to have been in Argentina and happy about the achievements. Many thanks to the team and partners, and now we won’t even pack our bags – from Argentina we are flying straight to Austria, where the Erzberg Rodeo will take place. There we will also try to show something interesting.”

The team evaluates the performance in Argentina positively – despite the technical challenges that arose, they managed to prove competitiveness in one of the most difficult stages of the world rally raid championship, and the experience gained will be useful for other starts.

There will be no time to rest after the finish in Argentina. In the coming days, the CFMOTO Thunder Racing Team will move to Austria, where the legendary Erzberg Rodeo competition will take place. This event is considered one of the toughest hard enduro challenges in the world – athletes face steep stone climbs, quarry slopes, and difficult technical sections. This competition is also unique because a very large number of participants do not reach the finish line.

For the team, this will be a completely different format challenge than usual, but the goal remains the same – to fight for the highest results and once again show their speed and endurance.
