The 34-year-old Brazilian fought in the UFC ring in June, where he suffered a loss to Mitch Raposo by judges’ decision.
Fighting in the lightest weight category (up to 56.7 kg), A. Nascimento had won 22 out of his 29 fights in total.
“Our beloved and exemplary fighter A. Nascimento was found without signs of life on the morning of August 3. It is suspected that he suffered a heart attack while sleeping,” the UFC organization reported.
“Despite all the efforts of the medics, they had to declare the athlete’s death.
We express our deepest condolences to Allan’s family, friends, comrades, and all loved ones during this difficult moment.”

A. Nascimento, who had a reputation as a creative and dangerous fighter, was also known for his tough fighting style – for which he even earned the nickname “Puro Osso” (lit. “Pure Bone”).
It is reported that the Brazilian earned more than 100 thousand US dollars during his career in the ring.
