According to „Ransomnews“, the advertisement appeared on the forum on the afternoon of August 2nd. The user who posted it is asking for 5 thousand euros for the entire data set.

The advertisement states that the data set contains about 541 thousand „Jira“ system tasks, 229,734 IT help desk requests, and source codes of 89 „GitLab“ repositories.
„Ransomnews“ indicated that it reviewed a sample archive attached to the advertisement. According to the platform, the data in it matches the quantities stated in the advertisement, and the same „GitLab“ access token is visible in all 89 repository dumps. This may indicate that the published samples are related to the same incident.
So far, there is no official confirmation that a data leak has occurred. „Żabka Group“ has not confirmed that the company experienced a cyber incident or that its data was stolen.

As previously reported by 15min, the operator of well-known retail locations worldwide, including „Circle K“ gas stations operating in Poland, announced that it reached an agreement with the management of „Żabka“ for the takeover of the entire group.
The deal would include a network of more than 13 thousand convenience stores in Poland and Romania.
The planned deal value is about 32.62 billion zlotys – equivalent to approximately 7.57 billion euros (8.7 billion US dollars).
This news came just a few days after the Japanese retail giant „Seven & i Holdings“ withdrew from negotiations to acquire a stake in „Żabka“, stating that it failed to reach a mutually beneficial agreement.
