Žmonės.lt reminds that on September 26, the UTMA tournament was supposed to feature not only the fight of fighter Dominykas Dirkstys with his opponent but also his wedding with businesswoman and performer Oksana Pikul. However, as the fateful date approached, fans began to worry whether the wedding would really take place, as there was no news about preparations for the celebration.
The portal Žmonės.lt contacted D. Dirkstys about this situation; he previously said that he does not yet know exactly when the wedding will take place.
“We are still working on all the details, so we cannot provide a final confirmation of the wedding date yet. There is a possibility that the date may change, but at the moment it is definitely not 100% decided. Whatever the final decision about the celebration is, the UTMA tournament taking place on September 26 will definitely happen and the audience can expect many impressive fights. Therefore, we invite everyone to come support the fighters and enjoy the event – if the wedding takes place on the same day, it will just be a pleasant additional highlight, and if plans change, the tournament will not suffer at all. As soon as we have a final decision on all the details, we will definitely inform the public about it,” D. Dirkstys told Žmonės.lt earlier.
