Some expressed frustration over the very slow-moving lines, others – because there were allegedly not enough medics on the event grounds.
As it happened, on Friday evening Pitbull fans were suffering from the intense heat. Some could not withstand it and even fainted. It was noticed that medics were not always nearby, so the police had to get involved.

Here, a Žmonės.lt reader captured a Pitbull fan who seemed to feel unwell due to the heat and the crowd. Police officers rushed to her aid, helping her pass through the crowd.

In response to the dissatisfaction, the organizers of the Pitbull concert, “Live Nation Lithuania,” responded – they gave a comment to the portal lrytas.lt and assured that the medical forces were indeed substantial.

“This Friday at the Darius and Girėnas Stadium in Kaunas, the ‘Pitbull’ tour concert is staffed with reinforced medical forces – as many as 5 medical crews and a mobile medical team. This exceeds the usual medical support provided at such events.
Together with the event security service, we are making every effort to respond promptly to every report, but due to the extreme heat, the need for medical assistance is significantly higher.
We thank the officers who helped guests waiting in line for the event,” commented the representatives of “Live Nation” to the portal Lrytas.lt.
