“I am addicted to moments like these – such atmosphere and such duels. Washington has one of the best atmospheres on the entire ATP tour. I am just incredibly grateful for the opportunity to perform here once again on Friday evening,” Shelton said.

In the last two seasons, the home player in Washington fell in the semifinals, and his next opponent will be Chilean representative Alejandro Tabilo (ATP-30).
