Photos and videos of the fire were also shared by the Ukrainian monitoring channel “Exilenova+”.

Regional governor Dmitry Mahonin stated that air defense forces reportedly shot down 30 drones, clarifying that “after repelling the attack, minor damage was caused to two uninhabited buildings.” According to him, no one was injured.

Earlier on Thursday, strikes by the Ukrainian armed forces were reported on Wildberries logistics centers in the Penza region and Udmurtia. Fires broke out at both sites.

One person was injured in the warehouse near Penza and was hospitalized, while 200 employees were evacuated.

In turn, Wildberries’ press service reported a temporary suspension of operations at the damaged facility. The logistics complex near Penza covers about 90,000 sq.m and serves the entire Volga Federal District.

In Udmurtia, Ukrainian drones attacked a 50,000 sq.m warehouse located in Sarapul. The staff was evacuated in advance, and no one was injured.

The strikes carried out on Thursday against Wildberries logistics centers were commented on by the commander of the Ukrainian drone forces, Robert Brovdi.

“The package will no longer arrive” – whether it contains a drone or a vibrator; from now on – neither to Penza nor to the Red Army. Sorry – to Udmurtia,” joked the commander of the Drone Forces.

He implied that the attacks will continue.

“Seventh, eighth… So far, there are fewer of them (burned ones – ed. note) than healthy ones, but that’s only for now. We’ll see what happens next,” he warned.

The Ukrainian armed forces began their strike campaign against Wildberries distribution centers on July 18 and have since hit more than 10 similar facilities.

According to calculations by the news portal “Viorstka,” by July 29, more than 15% of all warehouses of this trading platform were put out of commission.
